Enterprise4Women Ordinary Women Doing Extra Ordinary things

Seminar participant experience
I attended your empowerment workshop for women who want to start their
own business on 26th June 2010.

First of all, I must apologies for this belated email.

I am thankful that I was able to attend your workshop. I learnt a
great deal and have applied all of the advice to my life over the past
three weeks. I walked out of your workshop feeling so elevated and
ready to put all my thoughts into actions.

Following your advice from your workshop I have now written down all
my goals for the next year and also what I want to achieve with my
business.

Thank you for putting on this workshop and offering the advice that
you did. Also, thank you to all the guest speakers that were invited
to share their journeys and advice. It was very inspiring and now I
know that nothing is impossible.

Graffiti Kings

“I attended your workshop via Croydon Enterprise, one of many I took
part in.. but yours was definitely the most enjoyable, relaxed yet
very comprehensive and clear; it was a great networking experience
also, the buoyancy you created in your seminar was carried on in other
business events that followed, where I’d regularly see the other guys
& girls I’d met on your course. Thanks Yvonne, please keep up the good
work – your style is brilliant!”

Affable Therapy

‘I met Yvonne through Croydon Enterprise in Aug 2007.  She was assigned to me as my business advisor.  Right from choosing the name of the company to developing a business plan, Yvonne was always there for me.  I was new to the country and had no support network.  Yvonne’s professional advice helped me to start my business.  Over the years we remained in touch.  She continues to give me business opportunities.   She also introduced my work to others e.g. Lambeth Council.  My company Affable Therapy and Training is at a growing stage and I know I can count on her professional advice to take me to next level.  To Yvonne, giving enterprise advice to women is not just work, it is her passion. She finds fulfilled by empowering others to do what they do best.’

Little Gems Nursery

“I first heard of Ampod through Croydon Enterprise. I met with Ampod in the context of business consultancy. Prior to my first meeting with Ampod I felt somewhat confused by the different advice given by friends and others who were in business or had been in business. Ampod took the time out to arrange a one-to-one session with me to go through the many different questions I had. I was able to leave with a lot of information and feeling less anxious. I was able to act upon the information given and am now almost ready to start my own Day Nursery. My overall feeling of the company and service is that it is a company that really does listen and offers sound advice and support.”

“I would like to personally thank Yvonne Witter for her time and support in getting me so far in setting up my own business.”

“Thanks for a good event. Was really useful, didn’t realise how much support was available through Croydon Enterprise, … also met an old friend … we are going to get started again! Well worth attending.”

“Yvonne thank you, thank you, so much for all your support with TT Denim Jeans. You have been there throughout since last year. We have now reached the production stages.”

National Black Women’s Network

“Yvonne’s style of presentation is straightforward, unpretentious and light-hearted, though she gets her points over in a clear and interesting fashion, with an unusual slant on business issues. The audience found her thought provoking and without exception the delegate feedback was superb.”
